The elephant was told he couldn’t sit on the apple box. But out of curiosity, he still sat on it.

The story was inspired by an old idiom in English: “Elephant in the room”,  which is a concept about people who live in an environment where there are many rules and regulations, but they don’t tend to or dare to break them. The writer here referred to another concept, which is that ‘Women can not sit on the apple boxes’. In the ancient film and TV culture, the female stands for ‘Yin’, and the male stands for ‘Yang’. If the ‘Yin’ element touches the supplement box in the shooting field, it will bring bad luck to the crew. Therefore, we use elephants as people who are under ridiculous and strict rules and put them in a situation where the elephants can’t sit on the apple box, otherwise there will be something bad will happen.
